Happy Earth Day!

Since 1970, Earth Day has inspired millions of people to take action on environmental issues. This year, it’s coinciding with the signing of the historic Paris Climate Agreement. This is a moment to take stock in how far we have come and to consider new actions we can incorporate into for our own life with family and friends.

The Paris Agreement on Climate Change officially opens for signature on Earth Day, Friday, April 22 at a high level ceremony at the U.N. in New York City. Convened by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Earth Day, the event is the formal beginning of the implementation of the historical agreement reached last December. The agreement will officially enter into force when signed by at least 55 countries representing 55% of global emissions. Over 150 nations are expected to sign.

Happy Earth Day to all, and here's to a healthier, more sustainable future!
