Alexandria, MN - The Energy Park tent is a new feature of this year's Douglas County Fair with displays of energy related products of interest to homeowners, businesses and installers. Roundtable question and answer sessions, facilitated by a design expert in the energy field, will be held in the Energy Park tent.
Topics will focus on wind energy, solar power, geothermal heating and cooling, ethanol, biodiesel, heat pumps, plenum heating, etc. Manufacturers' representatives will be available, along with area legislators, to provide the latest in eco-friendly alternative energy strategies. There will also be staff present from the Alexandria Technical College to provide information on their new Renewable Energy degree program.

Thursday, Aug. 20 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 21 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 22 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
