Small Wind Turbine Installation Class

Loretto, PA - The Renewable Energy Center at Saint Francis University is holding a class July 26-30 on small wind. It is being taught by Solar Energy International and is their only wind class on the east coast. It is designed for people interested in working in the small wind industry.

The course will be taught by Solar Energy International, which has been providing hands-on renewable energy classes for the past two decades. Participants in this course will learn to design and install small wind systems, cover system sizing, site analysis, installation and safety issues, and hardware specification. Also, participants will learn about the different available small wind turbines, how they work, and the advantages and disadvantages of each, and students will tour renewable energy systems at Whispering Creek and the
wind farms on the Allegheny Ridge.

The tuition fee is $950 and $250 for optional room and board. There are 30 seats available for this course. To register call (970) 963-8855.
