Morris, MN - The University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center is hosting a coach bus tour of community-scale renewable energy systems located in west central Minnesota. When considered as a whole, these renewable energy systems present a globally unique learning opportunity.
The tour will include large-scale wind, biomass gasification, solar thermal and photovoltaic, anaerobic digestion, renewable hydrogen, geothermal, and green building technologies. The tour will focus on technical and business feasibility and promises to be an enjoyable learning experience.
The cost of the event is $45 ($25 for students with ID), which includes the bus ride, lunch, and educational materials. Please note that lodging and dinner are not included in the registration cost, however, rooms are available in Morris at a discounted rate. Bus transportation is available from St. Paul to Morris.
