Dallas, TX - The WINDPOWER 2010 Job Fair, held in conjunction with the WINDPOWER 2010 Conference & Exhibition, connects top wind energy companies with individuals ready to learn more about the opportunities in the wind industry.

Opportunity in wind energy is real and WINDPOWER is doing its part to demonstrate how to get involved in the wind industry by providing the WINDPOWER 2010 Job Fair, and the Careers In Wind Seminars.

The Fair is designed for all experience levels and is free and open to
the public from 10 am - 5 pm Monday, May 24 and Tuesday, May 25, and from 10 am - 4 pm on Wednesday, May 26.

The Careers in Wind Seminars are also free and open to the public. Hear from leading industry professionals on a variety of valuable subjects and learn the many opportunities in wind energy, and how to pursue them.

Session 1: Opportunities in Wind for Veterans
Monday, May 24 | 10:00am - 1:00pm

This session focuses on the jobs in the wind industry that are especially suited for veterans, with concrete "how-to's" on pursuing those jobs. The session features experts who specialize in helping vetrans with transitions from military to wind energy, as well as top managers from companies who will share information about the advantages of hiring vets.

Session 2: Careers in Wind: Starting Your Career in Wind Energy
Tuesday, May 25 | 10:00am - 1:00pm

Wind energy needs a host of skilled, experienced workers from engineers to tradesman to business professionals to construction workers. This seminar will focus on how to look for opportunities in the wind industry, as well as, how you can apply your current skills. A brief overview of the wind industry will be included.
