Show 350,000 Minnesotans how you are helping the State use Wind Energy to grow business, jobs, and a clean, fuel-independent future!
This year, we’re bringing a Yes In My Community! message to the 350,000 State Fair goers who will visit The Wind Energy Center, August 25 - September 5, 2011, in The Eco Experience at the Minnesota State Fair. Our interactive exhibit will emphasize how Wind is a cost effective, reliable, clean resource that provides economic development, jobs and revenue to Minnesota citizens.
Thank you to all of our partners and volunteers for making the Wind Energy Center at the Minnesota State Fair a great success! Some highlights from 2008:
- Trying out different careers in the wind energy industry.
- Climbing inside a replica turbine tower section and seeing a video of what it's like to be inside a real wind turbine.
- Getting your wind energy questions answered by an expert.
- Pickicking up a wind energy bookmark to take home.
- Experimenting with blade design and participating in other fun activities in the Renewable Energy Kid's Corral.
- Learning about home- and farm-scale wind turbines.
We couldn't do it without our partners! Thank you to everyone who helped us bring the Wind Energy Center to hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans in 2008!

Windustry's Wind Energy Center at the Minnesota State Fair EcoExperience was a huge hit again in 2007!
Energy on a Stick
Windustry was proud to once again host the Wind Energy Center at the 2007 Minnesota State Fair. Visitors had the chance to learn about wind energy, talk to a wind expert, try one of our fun activities, and look at the 123' blade.
