Windustry is pleased to announce that special guests Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, Jr. and Commissioner of Agriculture John Stulp will speak at the Community Wind across America Rocky Mountain Region event, October 26–27, Denver, Colorado.
Community Wind across America regional conferences on Community and Small Wind Energy will bring together state and local economic development and policy makers with members of the agriculture and wind energy industries to build economic opportunities and strengthen energy independence.
The two-track program covers the full range of what's needed to advance opportunities for locally-owned wind energy production from practical “how to” information, to new business models, options for financing, permitting, and local, state and national policies. Sessions are designed as panelist presentations with ample time for Q & A.
On day two of the Rocky Mountain Region conference Governor Ritter will to speak attendees during the morning break. The architect of Colorado’s New Energy Economy, Governor Ritter is a strong and vocal advocate of making wind, solar and biofuels, as well as efficiency measures, more affordable to homeowners and small businesses. John Stulp will help kick off the event by presenting an overview of the successful Lamar Community Wind Project in Colorado, during the morning plenary session.
