WoWE's Portland Chapter is hosting a meet-up during the AWEA Wind Resource & Project Energy Assessment Workshop to be held September 24-25, 2008 in Portland, OR. If you are planning on attending the workshop, please join us, and spend some time chatting with other women in the wind industry and learning a bit about WoWE.

Women of Wind Energy hosts an annual networking luncheon at AWEA's WINDPOWER to present the recipients of the Rudd Mayer Memorial Sponsorship, award the Woman of the Year Award and the Rising Star Award, and to build networks and contacts in the industry.
