As Windustry’s Development Manager, Lisa is primarily responsible for researching new funding sources, facilitating the process of developing new projects, securing financial support for those projects and the general operations of Windustry, and reporting to and maintaining relationships with donors. She also participates in the management and planning activities of the organization. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She worked as a researcher, writer, project manager, and fundraiser for a research firm that studied development patterns of major metropolitan areas of the U.S. – and then as the Development Director and Associate Director of 1000 Friends of Minnesota, a nonprofit that promotes sustainable community development. Lisa serves on the Board of Directors of Linden Hills Power and Light, a neighborhood-based organization working to shrink our local carbon footprint. Lisa has a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from the University of Oregon.
