Community Wind across America - Midwest Region

2010
Community Wind across America

Community Wind across America is showcasing ordinary people who are doing extraordinary work on a local level, for residential and commercial development. Meet and learn from energized experts and colleagues most able to help you get your wind project in the ground.

The Midwest Region conference will take place November 15-16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel St. Paul - Riverfront in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Engage and Learn
A two track program covers Community Wind and Small Wind. A panelist format with plenty of Q & A time will provide varied points of view and a practical "how to" information, overviews on permitting, local, state and national policies, and options for financing.

Who should attend a Community Wind across America conference?
Each conference will cover the full range of what's needed to advance opportunities for locally-owned wind energy production. It is for farmers, ranchers, rural landowners, municipal utilities, elected officials, town planners, tribal representatives, economic development professionals, business leaders, investors, bankers, and community leaders.

“The key goal in Community and Small Wind is to keep the economic benefits as local as possible while we change our energy sources and business models.”

-Lisa Daniels, Windustry Executive Director
