Washington D.C. - The National Wind Coordinating Collaborative (NWCC) is hosting a fall seminar on the "state of the art" developments in siting wind energy. This meeting will ensure that policymakers; local, state, and federal agencies; and developers have the tools they need to site new wind facilities in an environmentally responsible fashion.
The seminar will feature the latest research on wind energy and:
- Property values
- Community acceptance
- Visual impacts
- Cultural resources
- Lighting, FAA regulations, and air hazards
- Electromagnetic interference
- Sound
- Safety impacts
