On November 29th – 30th, the meeting Wind Energy and Transmission: The South Dakota Landscapewill be held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The meeting will focus on wind and transmission issues relevant to South Dakota, including the following topics:
- Why South Dakota offers remarkable opportunities for wind power
- Transmission constraints to greater wind power development in the state
- Possible solutions to South Dakota’s transmission constraints that would facilitate more wind energy in the region
- Options for implementing transmission solutions and enhance leadership involvement in these efforts
The program will begin at 1:00 pm CT on Thursday, November 29th and adjourn at 5:45 pm to a reception; on Friday, November 30th, the meeting starts at 8:00 am and adjourns at 2:00 pm.
